As a lover of their entire concept, and proud share holder, I’m thrilled to announce Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM) will open its newest location in the Avalon development at 2800 Old Milton Parkway Tuesday, Oct. 14. This is the eighth Atlanta-area location and the tenth store in the state.
Shoppers can get an early look at the new 48,000 square-foot store during sneak-preview tours offered Oct. 10 and 11. Online registration is required to secure a 45-minute tour between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 10, and between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 11. A suggested donation of $5 to local nonprofits Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and Foster Care Support will be accepted at the door. Tour groups will be among the first to see the store’s unique features, enjoy samples and receive a goody bag.
“We are really looking forward to opening our doors in the Avalon community,” said Matar Diouf, Store Team Leader, Whole Foods Market Avalon. “This store is going to bring together food, community and technology in a way we have not done before. People are really going to enjoy shopping here, and we can’t wait to bring the highest level of customer service, expertise and excitement to our customers.”
Coincidentally hubs and I drove over the Avalon development yesterday eager to get a closer look at what is happening with the construction and to get a better feel for how it is coming together. It was a wasted trip in that all the entrances were blocked off ~ BOO! North American Properties must be planning a big reveal so they are not letting the public get up close and personal with Avalon until they say the time is right.
Stay Healthy and Happy!
