I’m pleased to share with you that Ted’s Montana Grill is the most recent dining announcement for Avalon, the stylish new lifestyle community in Alpharetta. The new and first LEED-registered Ted’s debuts on October 30, and will be open daily for lunch and dinner. Ted’s Montana Grill was co-founded in 2002 by Ted Turner, the media entrepreneur, environmentalist and philanthropist, and award-winning restaurateur, George W. McKerrow. Headquartered in Atlanta, the company now has 46 locations across the country.
“We were drawn to Avalon for our newest location because it’s going to be a hub for the community to eat, shop, work and play,” explains McKerrow, who serves as the company’s CEO. “Our Big Sky Spirit, which welcomes our guests with authentic American dining and genuine hospitality, is a natural fit for Avalon’s attention to detail and amenities.”
Ted’s Montana Grill was the first national restaurant company to feature bison on its menu and offers more bison menu items than any other restaurant in the world.
All meals are made from scratch fresh daily – nothing frozen or microwaved – and even if you are not a meat eater you can still find plenty to love! Ted’s Montana Grill offers various meat free soups, salads and appetizers, even a house-made veggie burger. Chefs use only fresh Certified Angus® Beef and National Bison Association certified bison. Ted’s also serves Georgia’s Springer Mountain Farms® chicken and believes in fresh, sustainable, locally grown ingredients.
The décor for the new Avalon location will feature mahogany paneling, pressed tin ceilings, brass fixtures and beautiful crown molding. The floor plan showcases an open kitchen and a dining room with cozy booths and round tables. The bar will serve handcrafted cocktails, beer and wine – and, wait for it: Ted’s new adult milkshakes! Now who can resist THAT??
