It’s hot as blazes, as my grandmother use to say, here in Atlanta, so what better way to cool off than with ice cream? And what could be sweeter than enjoying yummy ice cream on hot summer day? Well let me tell you: eating ice cream WHILE helping Bert’s Big Adventure!
This month Häagen-Dazs shops are a proud supporter of Bert’s Big Adventure and on Friday, July 25, 2014, the ice creamery will be donating 50% of its sales to the Atlanta-based charity that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
The one-day event will take place in select Häagen-Dazs shops located across metro Atlanta, including Lenox Mall, Perimeter Mall, Town Center at Cobb, Collection at Forsyth, Cumberland Mall and Cumberland Festival Shopping Center. Offering an array of dazzling dessert selections, you can help give back to the charitable organization while enjoying a treat that tastes even better during the summertime.
(Hey, you should pick up one of their eye cross inducing ice cream cakes while you’re there. Then invite some friends and or family over to cook out a meal and enjoy ice cream cake for dessert. Yeah, I know you should’ve thought of that. No really, you’re welcome.)
