Atlantans, get your appetites ready, because Chef John Currence from Oxford, Mississippi’s City Grocery is the next chef to take over Gunshow’s Hired Guns series. The 2009 James Beard Best Chef: South award winner is heating up the kitchen on Tuesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 16 with the following menu items:


  • Gumbo z’herbes
  • German sweet potato salad
  • Mushroom tamales
  • Szechuan Catfish, stir fried rice, summer vegetables
