Buckhead’s New Beach House

Following two successful restaurant openings since November 2015, Atlanta-based restaurateur Justin Anthony announces an additional South African-inspired concept, Yebo Beach Haus. A restyled and revamped spin off of the former Yebo, Yebo Beach Haus introduces itself as an entirely new concept, fusing traditional South African and American flavors in a sophisticated, coastal atmosphere.

“Yebo means “yes” in South Africa, and that’s exactly how I feel about this concept. It’s something fun and new, that I’ve never approached before, yet fits the brand so perfectly,” explains Anthony. “Nestled in such a lively part of the neighborhood, it’s an ideal destination for people to hang out, grab a drink and some bites with friends.”

Yebo Beach Haus, located in the former Coast space from Here to Serve Restaurants, draws inspiration from Cape Town, the Hamptons and Californian beach influences. Featuring an expansive outdoor patio, white-washed walls, dark cherry wood-stained floors and driftwood décor elements, the refurbished space brings new life to the vintage house-turned-restaurant space. Anthony’s wife and esteemed interior design, Kelly Anthony, spearheaded the vision and redesign, incorporating her signature, timeless touch.

Anticipate a completely fresh restaurant, with Anthony’s same South African flair at Yebo Beach Haus. The menu will boast fresh culinary creations, such as shrimp peri-peri tacos, bunny chow sliders and tomato and watermelon bruschetta, alongside grilled swordfish sandwiches and boerewors meatballs. The development of a sophisticated beverage program has been a focus for Anthony and his team, crafting distinctive cocktails, offering a refined wine selection and a collection of local brews, much similar to the group’s Ponce City Market destination, Biltong Bar.

“I have always been a fan of the spot and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity; the location and space are the perfect fit for the True Story Brand. I’m beyond excited to bring something refreshing to the heart of Buckhead, just in time for summer and those days and nights when you just want to relax, and escape to the shore,” completes Anthony.

And oh yeah, I would be amiss in not mentioning Yebo Beach House was featured in Zagat’s 10 Hottest New Restaurants in Atlanta. So there’s that!
