Bantam + Biddy Opens at Lenox Square

I’m about to burst with joy over all the new restaurants opening at Lenox Square. Lenox has long needed this culinary boost so I’m glad someone at Simon decided to wake up and smell the coffee. (More on that below.)

The newest addition at Lenox is Bantam + Biddy, from Atlanta chefs Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere, opening on Monday, December 8.

While the Lenox Square Mall location has the same regional and pastured poultry and organic, seasonal vegetables as its predecessors, I’m truly super excited about the new restaurants caffeinated bonus: an espresso bar serving Batdorf & Bronson coffee.

“Busy Lenox shoppers need to refuel, just as the business people in the area do,” said Gummere. “We plan on offering several types of coffee to keep our guests on the go energized – like Cuban, shaken and cold brew, as well as chai.”   So rise and shine people, because the espresso bar opens at 7 a.m. daily, and I plan on hosting some LCM Lifestyle Breakfasts there sooner than later.

Naturally I’m interested in the design and interiors. The restaurant’s 2,200-square-foot space seats 104 guests in the dining room and will include a casual, covered patio. Designed by architect Tim Nichols, Bantam + Biddy’s aesthetic provides diners a charming, relaxing atmosphere that features classic wood bead board, bright ceramic tile and rich oak woods.

I can’t wait to try it.
