Entertain Your Kids This Summer
Get out of the heat and into fun in Georgia’s capital
By Laura Carson Miller
The dog days of summer are literally upon us and if you are looking to beat the heat with your kids or out of town visitors, I have a few wonderful options for you!
The College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience is a 94,256-square-foot attraction located in the heart of Atlanta’s sports, entertainment and tourism district. Adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park, the Hall provides fun for the whole family with a highly immersive, interactive and engaging experience using a blend of historic college football artifacts and state-of-the-art, interactive multimedia exhibits. Throughout the attractions, fans use touchscreens and RFID technology to interact with the game like never before with fun exhibits that allow them to virtually paint their faces, call plays in the radio booth, and even sit on ESPN’s GameDay Desk and play sportscaster for the day.
Monkey Joe’s is a children’s entertainment center filled with indoor jumps, slides and obstacle courses. A destination that caters to both children and parents, Monkey Joe’s provides wall-to-wall inflatables, including a main play center and a separate Mini Monkey Zone for toddlers. A great stop during hot Atlanta summers, kids can burn off energy during summer vacation while staying safe from the heat. Monkey Joe’s has 5 locations in the metro Atlanta area, including Cumming, Duluth, Newnan, Marietta and Tucker.
I’ve heard great things about the College Hall of Fame and personally I think a visit to Monkey Joe’s with youngest nieces is about to be atop my to-do list.
